Just like characters, the creatures of your mind should not be perfect. Make sure to add enough flaws for it to be believeable, but not too many. We don't want your creatures to seem so utterly horrible and hopeless that it is a miracle the species has survived. Just try to find a balance!

Creature Name: Aestus
Genus: Aestus
Species: Aliturae
Planet: Donum
Galaxy: Praedisio
Normal Behavior: Passive for the most part. More on that later.
History: The Aestus are still a relatively young species. They have natural wings on their backs, and have a mostly humanoid appearance. They began about three million years ago, evolving from an old species of bird-creatures that came as settlers from the planet, and eventually evolved for the high plateaus. They became to become more and more humanoid despite two features that really make them apart from most species. Despite the wings, they still have natural white hair from birth. They also have the ability to speak on supersonic levels for short periods of time. The recent uproar has been over a small group of people who abducted a young girl and subsequently tried to assimilate her into their species.
Behavioral Description: Passive, unless you do something stupid. Like try to turn a human into an alien.
Physical Description: The majority of the population is female. They have white hair, and always have green eyes. They also wear pastel blue hoods to hide their hair, as they think of it as a symbol of shame. They think that each hair signifies something their race has done wrong. They wear long dresses which are very conservative, made out of the same, silky blue material as their hoods. They are about 7 feet at their maximum height. They have jet black wings which are too large to hide under clothes, and so they have to cut holes in the back of their dresses to make room.

Special Skill(s): Eventual flight, advanced medical technology
Flaws: They are ignorant and "posh". They like to be "above" other races, acting like they are capable of more than others simply because they are the only living creatures in their galaxies. They also are not capable of flight, and very few can actually flap their wings. They usually use them for warmth and intimidation, as well as to slow their descent. They also are very extreme in their views, meaning they will go through anything to be right.
Other: Fun fact: Alice was kidnapped and tortured by the group of rogue Aestus. How's that for a plotline?
